I realy like iGoogle. I have been having a lot of fun with it and the thousands (1,000's) of 'Gadgets'.
background: i've been teaching myself Russian [Русский] and/or Ukrainian [Украинский]. On the computer i'm using to write this, All the apps are in Russian, the port of Notepad++ i'm coding this with and the FireFox I'm using to view my edits are both in Russian along with my iGoogle, Gmail, YouTube and MySpace accounts.
No turning back now, i'm going to learn it! Next i will be writting a 'Gadget' for iGoogle. Let me know if you have any ideas.

This app ROCKs. I'm teaching myself Ukrainian (Russian) while translating RU/UA websites and this app Rocks! It is easy and accurate. The only thing I've noticed is that it slowed down (the time between Ctrl + left mouse click and the time it presents the translation, definitions and what ever else it finds) after I registered it from "free version". All in all this is very complete and usfull to me. I would recomend it to Anyone.

I had to install .NET Framework to run a program I was eval'ing and my whole world went to shit. I couldn't even start Adobe's PhotoShop CS. Well, that is not supprising, being that CS (all apps) are based on Microsnck's xml, .net platform which I've always known sncked!
Needless to say, they'er both GONE!

This "file manager" replacement Rocks, it's customizable and it doesn't crash!
Please don't get me wrong Windows® NT was good and XP is fairly stable, but I would think that after all these years and the BILLIONS we've paid to MS (personally over $250,000 to MS and $500,000 on all software, of my own money), they (Microsoft) would actually work better than it does.

Have you ever noticed after ripping a video to avi or obtain one from a friend, even if it is encoded with DivX, that the video and audio are not in sync or the aspect ratio is off? Again that sncks. I've found that if you run the video (assuming you did not rip it) through somthing like EO Video you can regain a very nice proportional video with the v/a tracks in tack. Get and use DivX Player
